The 3rd Global Food Security & Sustainability Summit 2023

The 3rd Global Food Security & Sustainability Summit 2023™ will bring together leading experts from around the world to tackle the pressing issues of food security and sustainability. Taking place on August 29th, 2023, in Novotel Danang Premier Han River, Vietnam, the summit is the multi stakeholder platform for interdisciplinary and systemic discussions on food security challenges.

 

As environmental and social concerns intersect, the need to address food insecurity has become increasingly urgent. This year's summit will focus on scaling up climate resilience across food systems and transforming the food value chain to mitigate ESG risks. This includes efforts to adapt crops, improve water efficiency, lower the cost of nutritious food, and promote sustainable proteins.

 

Food technology advancements, such as precision agriculture and the development of new sustainable food sources, will also play a significant role in resolving food security and sustainability challenges. The food industry is under immense pressure to improve ESG performance and transparency, and digital technology and ESG will play a key role in enhancing food safety and accelerating food sustainability.
